“Christian Unity”  A different kind of Day of Reflection, to mark the week of prayer for Christian Unity - you are welcome to drop in for all, or part of the day, and pray using the materials provided.  A simple soup lunch will be available.

Marking the start of Lent, this quiet Day of Reflection will set the scene for this season, as we journey towards Easter.

Holy Week Glenfall welcomes you to spend time preparing for Easter by taking some quiet time aside.  Morning Prayer will be said each day, and each evening there will be a reflection followed by
Compline.  Non-residents are welcome to the evenings and/or to spend a day in the quietness.

The day will provide the opportunity to explore calligraphy and is suitable for absolute beginners who would like to search their hearts and express what they find there.

Glenfall House Walking Retreat
This retreat offers guided walks of 6-8 miles, worship based on insights and symbols of Celtic Christianity, times of silence and times of shared reflection. It could be a good introduction for those who have not experienced a retreat before.

A day for those new to the idea of spending time in silence, and a day for those wanting to be quiet and wait on God.

Tuesday, 30th November ~ Day of Reflection
“Advent - Waiting for The Light” ~  Revd Susan Bailey
A time of silence with a range of resources (music, poetry, prose, pictures) offered to aid reflection. The final worship will be a Eucharist for St Andrew's Day.

** Quiet Garden Days
An opportunity for you to spend a day in the garden, reading, reflecting, painting, sleeping.  The day starts with an opening reflection in the Garden Pavilion at 10am. Guests bring their own resources and lunch.  A packed lunch can be provided at a cost of £5.00 and should be booked in advance.  The day finishes at 4pm. There is no cost for attending a Quiet Garden Day.
